CALPRO
AirMet Science offers a three days training on CALPRO / CALMET and CALPUFF. It includes the management of CALPRO interface, options and variables and, if needed, an introduction to the concepts used in the meteorological model CALMET and dispersion model CALPUFF.
AERMOD
The objective of the session is a better understanding of the meteorological and dispersion concepts used in AERMOD and the use of Lakes Environmental AERMET/AERMOD-VIEW.
GENERAL METEOROLOGY
Sessions on general meteorology are offered and can be adapted to the needs of the client; it can cover introductory concepts (one day) to more advanced material (2 or 3 days). The more important notions are discussed, as clouds, precipitation, frontal systems, etc; in class exercices are also available according to the needs.
METEOROLOGY AND DISPERSION MODELS
A 2 days session is available for reviewing notions essential to understand the meteorological concepts applied to dispersion modelling and modelling concepts used in the various models (gaussian, puff, etc). Emphasis is put on operational models for regulatory applications.
